Online Money Making
The Ultimate Guide to Making Money Online
Feel free to go to a conference and see the real life blogger you've been following for a few years. You stand there, introduce yourself, get a little annoyed, have a 2 minute conversation and say "This is great!"
Here is a short, step-by-step summary of what I learned.
Step 1: Create a website
To make a significant amount of money online, you need to have a website. There is a lot of information about hosting and installing a blog, so we do not want to get into it.
But we have some questions about the particle details that make up a successful blog:
What does it mean to have a good web design and what is the best way to get one?
To answer those questions, we hired award-winning designer Jacob Cos.
What are the best ways to create and run membership sites?
To help with this, we talked to Matt Wolf, who pulls a consistent 5-digit number each month from his membership sites.
What if you do not want to create your own blog site?
We thought most people would not bother building the website, so we asked outsourcing-master Tyrone Sham to tell us how he finds, motivates and maintains the full-time, labor-intensive work done by our resource.
Step 2: Create content
Once you have the site, you need traffic. A blog is a favorite traffic source for almost every internet entrepreneur we interview.
I was particularly interested in this action because, despite a lot of traffic through my content, I did not attract the right audience and I did a good job of connecting with them to solve their problems.
How do you increase your blog content delivery?
One reason our interviewer Pat Flynn knows everyone, because by design, his material appears everywhere.
How do you create hard-hitting content that people take action on?
To understand the mentality of blogging, we asked Derek Helper to share the secrets he kept with him.
How do you try to use media that connects people better than other, videos?
Gideon Shalwick, widely regarded as the world's leading video blogger, gives us a list of tools he uses and how to optimize his videos for innovation.
Step 3: Get traffic
So you have a blog and you are creating good content, but you are not getting the traffic you expect. Once you know what I know about bloggers, you may be stuck where you are.
Almost all traffic comes from search or social. To answer each question, we can hire three great traffic masters.
What are the best ways to create a blog that likes search engines?
For our SEO questions, we approached Michael SEO man David Cynic.
What are the in-outs of every social media platform and the big unknown hints to boost everything?
We can ask any of the 1,000 people who claim to be social media experts, but we chose to talk to those who get the results the experts dream of (i.e. 100,000 Facebook fans and 1,000,000 YouTube viewers in the first 3 months).
How do you run a Facebook advertising campaign that makes money with almost every click?
Some people understand the science behind ads like Facebook pages and get 10,000 fans from our interviewer Brian Moran.
Step 4: Convert to traffic
If you have more than two thousand visitors per month, it makes sense to focus on the details that change that traffic.
This is where online marketing becomes obscure to me, so Nick and I prepared a repository of many questions to answer.
What is the basic method behind website conversion and how do you implement your strategy?
